Avia NG Inc. Expands Airport Planning Expertise with Launch of Aviation Planning and Advisory Services Division

Avia NG Inc. is excited to announce we have expanded our service offering with the formation of an Aviation Planning and Advisory division! This division will continue to build Avia NG’s top tier services in airport and heliport strategic planning, including but not limited to master planning, land use planning, terminal and facility planning, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, airfield capacity evaluation, regulatory compliance, and operations advisory. In addition, our team will continue to offer services in aeronautical impact assessments, zoning regulation, aircraft noise modeling, and site development planning.

We welcome Joshua Horst, Janine Maurice and Greg Ballentine who, through their collective experience and enthusiasm for aviation, will enable and grow this new division and expand our in-house capabilities to strengthen our existing and future aviation industry client relationships and strategic partnerships.

Senior Aviation Planner, Practice Lead

Joshua Horst joins the Avia NG team as practice lead for Aviation Planning and Advisory. His tenured career as a senior aviation consultant includes projects throughout Canada and oversees. Prior to joining Avia NG Joshua managed an aviation planning team for a multi-national firm and lectured in post graduate studies in airport planning and management. Joshua brings to Avia NG a diverse background in aviation planning covering the full range of airport and heliport projects.

Greg Ballentine, B.E.S., B.Arch.
Senior Aviation Planner

Greg Ballentine is a senior aviation consultant and has over 35 years of continuous airport-related experience that touches all aspects of airport planning as well as the design of airport facilities.

With a background in architecture, Greg has planned numerous airport facilities, including passenger terminal building, air cargo facilities, aircraft maintenance hangars and airport support facilities.

Janine Maurice
Aviation Planner

Janine Maurice has spent the past 6+ years as an aviation planner providing expertise in airport and heliport planning throughout Canada, the Caribbean, and Australia. Janine brings a diverse range of experience to Avia NG that includes apron planning, aircraft noise evaluation, land development planning, aeronautical impact assessment, zoning regulation, and quality assurance audits.
