Nicholas has provided his aviation planning skills to a number of projects, both in Canada and abroad, from the aviation authority of Saudi Arabia, to leading a small team on the infrastructure and maintenance of 14 airports in Nunavik, Québec, to working on terminal simulation at Calgary International Airport. He has also worked in operational roles and managed a certified airport. Nicholas has a Masters of Science in Airport Planning and Management from Cranfield University, UK.
